Locked Bobby Pins
Most can agree that bobby pin packaging, or storage at least, has been a struggle. I chose to design a compact package for the hairpins which also doubles as a storage unit. The hinge opening makes for easy access, and the addition of magnets lining the rims prevents an avalanche of pins, and grants the user control over how many pins they wish to release.
Inspired by the 1950s era Rockabilly diva, the package design represents the four main hair colors combined into a savvy set that gives rocking women everywhere the power and attitude to tame their locks.
