40 Tips & Tricks
Structure and grid do not always mean right angles, so I chose to approach this poster design organically. I decided to visually represent Lupton’s 40 Tips and Tricks by illustrating inspiration itself. I used an abstracted neuron as the organizing system, because neurons are a symbol of the mind, thought process, logic, and basically inspiration. “40” is depicted within the cluster of the neuron’s dendrites, marking the trail of sparks to the structure’s base.
